RxHelp for WA, a partnership for prescription assistance, is a one-stop clearinghouse that provides information on hundreds of patient assistance programs and other public and private programs. It allows thousands of Washington residents to quickly search for free or discounted drugs with the help of an easy-to-use website, www.rxhelpforwa.org, or toll free number, 1- 877-923-6779.

The RxHelp for Washington program is designed to help Washington residents easily find patient assistance programs. More than 1,800 different medications are available for free or at greatly reduced prices for qualified applicants. There are more than 300 different plans that provide free or reduced price prescriptions.

How does RxHelp for Washington work?
Applicants may be eligible for free or discounted drugs if their medication is not covered or only partially covered by insurance. They answer a few simple questions to see if they are eligible.

Washington's Need
More than 500,000 Washington residents have no medical insurance, and more than 200,000 seniors have no prescription drug coverage. Currently, similar programs in Rhode Island, West Virginia, Ohio and Washington, D.C., are serving thousands of patients.
